Team reaction videos never get old.
Coming off a dominant 59-27 win at home over Fresno State, Utah was back to the grind on Monday. Though the team has a bye this week, its next matchup is a trip up north to the Big House to face Michigan in Ann Arbor – one of the more intimidating environments in college football. So to give the team a little bit of a boost, head coach Kyle Whittingham unveiled some new white helmets.
Predictably, the team went nuts in one of the better reaction videos so far this season.
The helmet reveal had a good setup, too. Senior defensive end Nate Orchard came out in a white uniform wearing the Utes usual red helmet, but then the white helmet is pulled out from behind the podium to complete the look.
The video even has multiple angles! Well done, Utah.
Oh, and here’s a closer look at the new lids.

It’s not confirmed when the Utes will debut the white helmets, but a nationally televised game against Michigan with the chance to improve to 3-0 would make a whole lot of sense.
