Arkansas starting quarterback Brandon Allen woke up Monday morning to find his truck on fire in what police are investigating as an arson case.
The truck was one of three vehicles burned in the parking lot of Allen’s apartment. It is unclear if Allen’s truck was targeted and Fayetteville police are working with the fire marshal to investigate.

Allen said he wwoke up to the sound of the alarm on his Chevy Avalanche going off. He saw the car ablaze and called the police. Allen said the truck was a gift from his father and his golf clubs were in it.
Allen, who was named the starter earlier this fall, played the bulk of last season with a separated AC joint in his shoulder and completed just 49.6 percent of his passes for 1,552 yards with 13 touchdowns and 10 interceptions in 2013.
