According to an attorney for the woman who accused Jameis Winston of sexual assault in December 2012, the Florida State quarterback's code of conduct hearing will be during football season.

Winston faces up to four charges of violating Florida State's code of conduct because of the allegations. While he wasn't charged with a criminal act because of a lack of evidence in the case, Title IX regulations stipulate that the school must do its own investigation of allegations of sexual assault.

"We have been advised by Florida State that the hearing on Mr. Winston's code of conduct violations for sexual assault will be held the week of the 17th of November," John Clune, an attorney for the woman told USA Today. "We have advised the school that we are available and will be ready to proceed."

Major Harding, a retired Florida Supreme Court chief justice, will preside over Winston's hearing, which will determine if Winston violated the code of conduct.

Both Florida State coach Jimbo Fisher and David Cornwell, an attorney for Winston, said in October that the quarterback wasn't expected to miss any time because of the hearing. However, those statements were before any date for the hearing was set. Florida State plays Miami on November 15 and Boston College on November 22.
