Texas Tech is off to a great start at home against West Virginia largely because of wide receiver Devin Lauderdale.
Lauderdale, a sophomore junior college transfer, already has caught two touchdown passes for the Red Raiders in the first quarter. There is one problem, however. Lauderdale caught the two touchdowns – the first two of his career – with his last name spelled incorrectly on the back of his jersey. Oops
Devin Lauderdale of #texastech scores 2 TDs in 1q. May never again let them spell his name correctly. @UniWatch http://ift.tt/1vZqx0O

As you can see, the second 'D' is missing. That's not a good look for the TTU equipment department.
Coming into the game, Lauderdale had eight catches for 100 yards in five games for the 2-3 Red Raiders. He passed that yardage total Saturday in the first quarter alone with his two scores – one from 34 yards and another from 76 yards.
Maybe now that he’s making big plays on the field, Lauderdale's name will be spelled correctly in Texas Tech’s next game.
