Running back Todd Gurley might not have been on the field for Georgia’s 34-0 shutout of Missouri, but his teammates made sure he was with them during the celebration.
Following the contest, Georgia players went to the Georgia fan section and held up the No. 3 with their fingers. The three fingers represented Gurley’s jersey number.

Several players also posed for pictures with the same gesture.
This game reminds me of the season opening shutout of Clemson some years back. (more threes in the celebration pile.) http://ift.tt/1wiAhRw

Gurley did not make the trip to Missouri on Saturday after the university suspended him while it investigates allegations that he took money for autographs and memorabilia, an NCAA violation.
Gurley was a Heisman hopeful as the team’s leading rusher with 94 attempts for 773 yards and eight touchdowns.
Many counted Georgia out against Missouri because of Gurley’s absence, but the team seemed to play inspired for him. Backup running back Nick Chubb carried the rushing load with 38 carries for 143 yards and a score.
