Iowa State's top WR Quenton Bundrage suffers season-ending injury



Iowa State’s tough start to the season just got worse as leading receiver Quenton Bundrage is out for the season after tearing his ACL against North Dakota State.


The injury happened during the fourth play of last Saturday’s loss.

Bundrage led the Cyclones with 48 catches for 676 yards and nine touchdowns. His touchdown total ranked third in the Big 12.


Freshman Allen Lazard will be Bundrage’s replacement. Lazard had 48-yard reception during last Saturday’s game.


The Cyclones, which lost to an FCS opponent for the second consecutive season, open up Big 12 Conference play this weekend against Kansas State.
