Like a lot of coaches, Florida head coach Will Muschamp participates in a weekly radio show where he can take calls and questions from fans. Thursday night, Gators athletic director Jeremy Foley filled in for Muschamp on Gator Hotline and he got an interesting call from “Bill from Gainesville,” who sounded rather familiar.
Take a listen.
It was a pretty funny moment. Muschamp, or “Bill,” sorry, goes back and forth with Foley. They each get in some lighthearted jabs, with Foley saying that he falls asleep during Muschamp’s appearances on the show, then Muschamp had to get in a little dig about Foley’s favorite baseball team, the Boston Red Sox.
During last year’s 4-8 campaign, Muschamp certainly faced some heat from Gators fans. Foley acknowledged that and said it was much easier to answer to the fans after last Saturday’s 65-0 win over Eastern Michigan.
The Gators will look to get to 2-0 in this weekend’s SEC opener against Kentucky.
