Colorado lineman suspended indefinitely after sexual assault allegation

Colorado offensive lineman Isaiah Holland is suspended indefinitely from the team and not enrolled at the university after an allegation of sexual assault.

A spokesperson for the university declined to specify to the Boulder Daily Camera how long Holland had not been enrolled citing student privacy rules. Holland is facing four felony charges from the incident.

The alleged incident happened on October 24, when Holland entered a woman's dorm room. The woman told him to leave three or four times and he eventually complied. She said she went to sleep a short time after he departed. However, it does not end there.

From the Daily Camera:

At an unknown time later that night, the woman told police, she "woke up ... to the feeling of breath on her face and neck, and she could feel the sensation of someone next to her."

Holland is accused of proceeding to grope the woman inappropriately, as she pretended to be asleep, "hoping that the touching would stop and that (Holland) would go away."

The woman told police Holland eventually left, after an undetermined amount of time in the room, and that she reported the incident to her resident advisors. A CU officer contacted Holland in his dorm room at 4:37 a.m., placed him under arrest and transported him to the Boulder County Jail.

Per the Daily Camera, felony charges are sexual assault of an at-risk victim, sexual contact with an at-risk victim and two counts of second-degree burglary. "At-risk" means the alleged victim has a physical disability.

Holland, a freshman, was a two-star recruit according to Rivals from Valor Christian High School in Colorado.
