Just over a year after the tragic car accident that killed Cincinnati offensive lineman Ben Flick, another UC player has passed away.
According to multiple reports out of Cincinnati, Bearcats redshirt freshman running back Chamoda Kennedy-Palmore was killed when a vehicle struck the motorcycle he was riding. Kennedy-Palmore, a native of Liberty Township, Ohio, was 19.
Per WLWT, the incident occurred shortly after 1:30 p.m. Thursday afternoon, just two days before the Bearcats are set to face off against Ohio State in Columbus.

Police said a motorcycle was southbound on Vine when a sport utility vehicle going west on Forest turned north on Vine, then left across the southbound lanes into a parking lot in the path of the motorcycle.
Following the accident, Kennedy-Palmore was taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.
The 5-foot-8, 180-pound Kennedy-Palmore was a walk-on who had not seen the field in his short time with the program. His death comes one year and four days after the 19-year-old Flick was killed in a single-car accident while driving home from UC’s road win over Miami (Ohio) on September 21, 2013. The driver of the car, 18-year-old Sean VanDyne, passed away a few days after the accident. VanDyne was a Miami (Ohio) student who had been Flick’s best friend since elementary school.
Cincinnati receivers Mark Barr and Javon Harrison were also injured in the crash that killed Flick. UC head coach Tommy Tuberville announced in July that neither player would play again, but both would remain on full scholarship.
The university is expected to release a statement at some point Thursday evening.
