In remembrance of the Sept. 11 attacks from 13 years ago, many programs have worn or will wear patriotic uniforms or helmets this weekend. And fittingly, Air Force will join the bunch against Georgia State on Saturday afternoon.
The Falcons will be wearing chrome white helmets with 9-11-01 stickers on the back.

The new helmets have the lightning bolt logo like the alternate lids (and uniforms) the program unveiled back in July. The chrome look works well, and the sticker is a great addition.
Coming off a tough 17-13 road loss to Wyoming, the 1-1 Falcons will look to get back in the win column at the Georgia Dome against the 1-1 Panthers. The game will kick off at 2 p.m. ET.
