South Carolina coach Steve Spurrier hasn’t seen the 85-foot banner of himself hanging in front of Williams-Brice Stadium, but he’s heard it looks nice.
And he’d like it to stay that way.

Spurrier was asked about the banner during a press conference on Sunday and said that his only concern is that he hopes fans don’t throw eggs at it if the team starts losing.
“I don’t want people coming by there and throwing eggs at it or something like that,” Spurrier said. “And that could happen. If we go bad, that could happen as we all know.”
South Carolina currently owns the nation’s longest home-winning streak at 18 games, which includes perfect 7-0 seasons in 2012 and 2013. So, it’s probably going to take a lot for the fans to turn on Spurrier and launch eggs at his likeness.
And honestly, if someone is athletic enough to launch an egg more than 100 feet in the air to hit Spurrier's likeness in the face, the Ol' Ball Coach might wanna give that person a walk-on look.
