Have you ever gone to a sporting event and thought the soft pretzels at the concession stands weren't big enough? Here's Maryland's new 1.5 pound pretzel.
The Terrapins will sell "The Chessie" at all home football games this year. It's 24 ounces of a pretzel baked with crab dip and cheese. It will sell for $17.50 according to the Washington Post.

The official description of the pretzel:
The ‘Chessie,’ named after the Loch Ness Monster’s less famous Chesapeake Bay cousin, is a monster-sized 24-ounce hot soft pretzel smothered in back fin crab dip and melted cheddar cheese, then topped with a dusting of Old Bay for two to four hungry fans.
I'm all for trying this monstrosity, but I would share it with Graham and Sam. Three seems to be the sharing sweet spot. Two to four people is a pretty wide margin, but it totally wards off the feeling of gluttony if you split it with just one person. If you choose to be selfish and eat the pretzel yourself, you probably deserve the guilt that comes with eating it all as well as the stomachache that's sure to follow.
