Thought of picking starting QB beginning to hit Urban Meyer

You likely know that Ohio State coach Urban Meyer has a dilemma when it comes to picking a starting quarterback for 2015. It's a good one, mind you, but Meyer said Tuesday that he's beginning to be impacted by the decision.

"It's not like receiver, where you can put three of them out there," Meyer said via Cleveland.com. "That's the one thing that's weighing a little bit. It didn't for a while because you're just so busy. But now I'm seeing what I'm seeing, and I have such great respect for all three guys."

Meyer has Braxton Miller, who set records as Ohio State's starter in 2013. He was sidelined for the Buckeyes' national championship-winning season with a shoulder injury. J.T. Barrett replaced him as the starting QB for 2014 and promptly broke Miller's records. He was hurt in the final game of he regular season against Michigan and Cardale Jones replaced him, winning games against Wisconsin, Alabama and Oregon to cap a 13-1 season.

It's a situation that may not have an incorrect answer, and no, there have been no hints as to who the starter come September could be.

Both Miller and Barrett are still rehabbing their injuries. Meyer said Barrett was a bit ahead of where he thought he'd be at this point in spring after suffering the ankle injury in November. Miller, who reinjured his throwing shoulder that was surgically repaired after the 2013 season, has had to throttle back his rehab just a bit. Trainers don't want Miller falling on the shoulder and risking further damage.
