The top-rated player in the state of Tennessee will play for the Vols.
Drew Richmond, a Rivals five-star offensive tackle from Memphis, signed his National Letter of Intent to attend the University of Tennessee. The 6-foot-5, 323-pound Richmond chose the Vols after decommitting from Ole Miss earlier in the week.

— Tennessee Football (@Vol_Football) February 4, 2015 Richmond, the 12th-best player in the nation according to Rivals, originally gave his verbal commitment to Ole Miss back in September, but he took his official visit to Tennessee last weekend and decided to stay in-state. He becomes the fifth offensive lineman to join Tennessee’s highly rated 2015 class.
Richmond is the fourth five-star recruit to sign with Tennessee, joining defensive tackle Kahlil McKenzie (No. 6 overall) defensive end Kyle Phillips (No. 32 overall) and former Alabama running back Alvin Kamara, who played one season at Hutchinson Community College after transferring from Alabama.
Currently, Tennessee’s class is ranked fifth in the country by Rivals.
