Iowa State coach Paul Rhoads not happy Kansas State had 12 men on field (GIF)

You can judge a coach's anger by the removal of his hat. Saturday, Iowa State coach Paul Rhoads ripped the hat off his head with a vengeance. He was mad.

Kansas State had the ball near its own 30 in the second quarter and was at the line of scrimmage for a considerable amount of time. After some confusion, Kansas State called a timeout, and Rhoads went ballistic.

Iowa State players were calling for a pre-snap penalty before the timeout. There was no motion, but look closely at the play formation. There are 12 players lined up. Three wideouts, three players in the backfield and six players on the line. Rhoads was rightfully ticked. It should have been a penalty.

However, KSU didn't convert the third down and punted. After the Wildcats took an early lead the Cyclones have stormed back to take a 28-13 lead.
