Michigan regents say 'no' to fireworks after home football games

Sorry, Michigan fans, there will be no fireworks at games this season.

A vote to have fireworks set off during home games against Miami on Sept. 13 and Penn State on Oct. 11 was rejected after University of Michigan regents determined the show would have been risky and disrespectful to are residents.

The University of Michigan regents are also haters of all sparkly and fun things, including stars, diamonds and glitter.

The fireworks would have been set off from Michigan Stadium Field from the stadium’s east and west towers.
