USC played at Arizona State on Sunday in men's basketball, so what better way to distract USC basketball players than by rubbing in how the Sun Devils won in football?
Arizona State's win over USC was one of the more memorable moments of the 2014 college football season as Jaelen Strong caught a Hail Mary from Mike Bercovici with no time left to give ASU a 38-34 win over USC. It's become known as the "Jael Mary" to ASU fans.
On Sunday night, USC students reprised the roles of Bercovici and Strong while Elijah Stewart was at the free throw line.
You may need to watch closely. A student dressed up as Bercovici is on the right side of your screen. He throws a ball in the form of a cutout being run by another student, to a student dressed up as Strong on the left side of the screen.
We applaud the creativity. So did Bercovici.
Shoutout to the #CurtainofDistraction for the Jael Mary skit 😂😂😂

In case you were wondering, Stewart missed the first free throw and ASU won 64-59.
