Many Nebraska players voiced their displeasure after head coach Bo Pelini was fired in late November by athletic director Shawn Eichorst. In their first game since Pelini was let go, a few Huskers’ players decided to honor Pelini during the Holiday Bowl against USC.

Additionally, wide receiver Kenny Bell wrote “Pelini” on his wrist tape, and defensive back Joshua Kalu wrote “Bo Bo Bo” on his towel.

That’s a nice tribute for Pelini, who recently accepted the head-coaching job at FCS Youngstown State.
The Huskers currently trail USC at halftime, 24-17.
