Hines, a freshman, was N.C. State's leading receiver in 2014. He had 45 catches for 616 yards and was set to be an integral part of the Wolfpack offense in 2015.

He had three catches for 79 yards in the St. Petersburg Bowl win over UCF on Friday night.

Per the Charlotte Observer, Hines is expected to transfer to Yale.

“I truly enjoyed being Bo’s coach and wish him nothing but the best in his future endeavors,” N.C. State coach Dave Doeren said in a statement.

Hines was a three-star recruit from Charlotte, N.C., out of Charlotte Christian High School.

Sophomore TE David Grinnage and sophomore WR Bra'Lon Cherry become the Wolfpack's leading returning receivers. Each had 27 catches in 2014 and Grinnage had 358 yards while Cherry had 354.
