Michigan defensive end Frank Clark was booked into jail on charges of domestic violence Sunday morning.
Per an officer at the prison, Clark is being held without bond until his 9 a.m. court appearance at 9 a.m. Monday at the Sandusky Municipal Court. Bond will be set at that time.
Michigan was off on Saturday and Clark was arrested in Perkins Township, Ohio. He's a native of Cleveland. There are no details about the charges and there has been no update on his status with the team from Michigan coach Brady Hoke. A Michigan spokesperson told ESPN that "We are aware of the report and are gathering more information."
Clark, a senior, has 42 tackles, including 13.5 for loss and 4.5 sacks. He's started nine of Michigan's 10 games this season and was a second-team All-Big 10 selection in 2013.
Clark was arrested in 2012 and admitted to stealing a laptop from a dorm room at Michigan. He was given a year's probation and ordered to pay over $1,700 in costs and fines.
Michigan plays Maryland on November 22.
