Two Oklahoma State players were arrested Sunday morning after they were found asleep in a Whataburger drive-thru.
CB Juwan Offray and WR Jhajuan Seales were in a car in line when they fell asleep. Per the Tulsa World, police said they were "oblivious" and "lethargic and confused" when they were discovered at approximately 4 a.m.
The two were arrested for public intoxication and Offray was also given a complaint of hampering an officer.
“Both males were totally asleep and oblivious to anything going on around them,” one of the officers stated in the report.
The police report indicates that the officers awakened Seales and Offray by knocking on the car windows. Seales and Offray “seemed very lethargic and confused” and “their eyes were red and watery with a glassy appearance,” the report states.
Apparently, Seales, who was driving the car, couldn't even turn it off himself.
“I observed Seales trying to turn the vehicle off and he seemed very confused and unable to possess even the manual dexterity to simply turn the key to the off position," the report said. "In fact, (Offray) had to physically help Seales turn the vehicle off.”
Both players admitted to drinking in the report. Offray received the hampering complaint because he initially lied about who he was. The complaints are misdemeanors, and per the paper, the two are expected to pay fines for them.
Seales has 13 catches for 236 yards and three touchdowns in 2014. Offray has three tackles through seven games.
