Ohio State to have moment of silence for Cincinnati's Chamoda Kennedy-Palmore

Ohio State announced Thursday night that it would have a moment of silence for Cincinnati RB Chamoda Kennedy-Palmore, who died in a motorcycle accident on Thursday.

The Bearcats visit the Buckeyes and the moment of silence will happen before the game.

Kennedy-Palmore was riding his motorcycle when he was hit by a car. According to GoBearcats.com, he was wearing all required protective equipment.

Kennedy-Palmore is a native of Liberty Township, Ohio and went to Lakota East High School. He walked on at Cincinnati and redshirted in 2013. Tragically, he's the second Bearcat to die in an auto accident in just over a year. Last year, OL Ben Flick died in a car crash and WRs Mark Barr and Javon Harrison were hurt.

Earlier in the week, the Cincinnati announced that it would have the state of Ohio on its helmets against the Buckeyes. While it the state is there because the Bearcats are playing an in-state rival, Ohio's presence is now a poignant one after the Buckeyes' sign of solidarity with the moment of silence.
