If Ole Miss is going to have a successful season, receiver Laquon Treadwell will be a main part of it. He led the team with 72 receptions last season and this year could be more of a scoring threat for the Rebels.
Treadwell showed he’s ready to step into that role Tuesday when he posted video of a beautiful one-handed touchdown catch during a Rebels’ practice.
As you can see from the video, Treadwell had enough concentration to catch the ball one-handed despite a defender briefly blocking his vision as he tried to knock the pass down.
Treadwell averaged 8.4 yards per catch last season, but could emerge as a viable deep threat this season with Donte Moncrief gone to the NFL.
Regardless of how the Rebels decide to use Treadwell, plays like this show he’s ready to pick up where he left off last season.
