Happy Thanksgiving from Dr. Saturday

Ah, another Thanksgiving is upon us. Of course, in the college football world that means we’ve reached rivalry week and conference championship games are on the horizon.

This time last year we were thankful for the demise of the BCS, but the inevitable controversy has predictably followed into the College Football Playoff era.

Still, there’s an awful lot of football to be played, starting with a few good matchups (TCU-Texas and LSU-Texas A&M) to tune in to as you wake up from your tryptophan-induced food coma. We’re thankful for that.

But when you sit down at the dining room table with a gorgeous cooked turkey in front of you, consider the perspective of another in the college football community: the Virginia Tech Hokie.

We’ll let him explain.

Happy Thanksgiving, all!
